1. What is CVAIA?

A: Cache Valley Area Investors Association (CVAIA) is a non-profit organization that aims to help everyone fortify financial foundations whether in Cache Valley, Utah, or in other locations. It is
meant to be a non-threatening environment where people of varying degrees of investment experience can come together to learn and apply what they are learning. The goal is to help inexperienced investors become good at investing, to get good investors to be great investors,
and to give great investors an opportunity to share and teach others.


2. Does CVAIA cost to join?

A: No, there is no cost to become a member of CVAIA. A member is anyone who has joined by requesting their name to be added to the email list. An active member is someone who attends the meetings held every-other Thursday evening.

3. Who can join CVAIA?

A: Anyone can be a member of this association who truly wants to network with those who want to learn how to invest their time, assets, and/or experience into creating building their foundations of becoming financially independent. We want those who really care about making
things happen, not just wishful thinkers. We are an association of action, not just of theoretical philosophies. We strive to put into practice what we are learning.

4. Does CVAIA sell me anything in the meetings or over my email?

A: CVAIA is not about selling services or products. Often, services and products will be discussed as regarding to investment opportunities, but CVAIA itself does not specifically endorse any of these. Though, presenters of many kinds come to the meetings who tend to represent available products and services, it is understood that that CVAIA members are free to judge for themselves what is worth investing in and what is not. CVAIA does not share your contact information for any direct sales within our network. Your email and information will only be used for updates and newsletters directly relating to CVAIA. If requested by you, CVAIA will share your information with those in the network to assist with investment opportunities.

5. Does CVAIA actually invest in anything?

A: CVAIA, the organization, does not invest in anything. Instead, the decision of investments made rests upon the members and their resources. It is hoped that through learning and networking together, CVAIA members find like-minded individuals who are interested in partnering and assisting each other with investment opportunities. Some examples include: debt refinancing, hard-money lending, real estate ventures, member affiliation systems, venture capital investments, and peer-to-peer lending.

6. What can CVAIA do for me?

A: CVAIA aims to build strong financial foundations for anyone who intends on making financial philosophies a reality. To do this CVAIA: provides networking opportunities with other investors and experts on a variety of topics, researches and makes known investment opportunities, and provides education at a professional level in multiple areas.
